Wallace is hiring an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to provide same day primary care appointments for new and established patients within a collaborative, team-based clinic.

 

Work life balance and schedule highlight: Wallace offers a four day workweek with Fridays off, 32 patient facing hours paired with 8 hours of protected admin time, and 11 paid holidays annually designed to support high quality care and realistic workloads.

  • Compensation: $140,000-$160,000 annually (DOE), language differential available.
  • Schedule: Full time, Monday - Thursday, 11:00 am - 8:00 pm

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide same day care for new and established Wallace patients with a wide range of acute needs.
  • Perform clinical evaluations, physical exams, and histories.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic concerns that arise during visits.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs.
  • Perform minor procedures (e.g., sutures, I&D) and interpret basic EKGs.
  • Determine when to coordinate follow up with the patient’s primary care provider.
  • Partner with RNs on triage and engage with behavioral health and care coordination teams.
  • Maintain high quality documentation, follow up planning, and patient education.
  • Support improved access by helping open schedules for empaneled PCPs.

 

What we are Looking For: This role is ideal for an experienced Nurse Practitioner who thrives in dynamic environments and values team based, relationship centered care. Ideal backgrounds include immediate care, urgent care, same day access, or fast paced outpatient primary care (preferred, but not required!).

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted NP license in Oregon
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification required (role serves pediatrics through geriatrics).
  • Current DEA and BLS
  • Minimum 3+ years of clinical NP experience
  • Strong comfort with diverse acute presentationsExcellent adaptability and the ability to pivot quickly
  • Commitment to team based, patient centered care

Preferred:

  • Experience in fast paced outpatient or acute care settings, such as immediate care, urgent care, or other similarly dynamic clinical environments.
  • Experience supporting Medicaid or higher acuity primary care population
  • Collaborative, team oriented, and grounded in patient centered values
  • Able to manage both quick turn tasks and thoughtful follow up needs
